As part of the third biennial IPAA Victoria Public Sector Week 2019, Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability Dr Gillian Sparkes joined a stellar line up of speakers to discuss 'Why Should The Public Sector Care About Sustainable Development?’ . Dr Sparkes used the key note address to brief the audience from all tiers of government, and corporate Australia on the critical findings of the Victorian State of the Environment 2018 Report, emphasise areas for future focus and explain why the Office of the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability is integrating the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals into Victoria’s State of Environment reporting framework.
